With yesterday’s addition of Chancellor Bradley Byrne to the slate of candidates running for Governor, the race is beginning to take shape. Chancellor Byrne joins the ranks of Greenville business man Tim James, Congressman Artur Davis, State Representative Robert Bentley, and Ag Commissioner Ron Sparks seeking the state’s highest elected office.

According to a press release by her exploratory committee yesterday, an official announcement from State Treasurer Kay Ivey is also expected within the coming weeks.

Rumored to still be considering a possible run for governor is Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb, 10 Commandments Judge Roy Moore, and Bill Johnson who serves as the director of ADECA.
